Adolescent Partial Hospitalization Program

Adolescent Partial Hospitalization Program

Adolescent Partial Hospitalization from Rivendell is an outpatient program designed to provide help to individuals who do not meet medical necessity for inpatient hospitalization, but who need more intensive help than just regular outpatient care.

To start, potential patients will follow our initial assessment process and will be admitted into the program by a physician through a physician’s order.

Individuals will be provided four hours of intense group therapy five days a week for two or three weeks. Patients will also receive individual/family therapy sessions as needed along with a minimum weekly physician and/or nurse practitioner contact.

Who Is Adolescent PHP For?

Adolescent PHP is for males and females ages 12-18. Eighteen-year-old patients must be enrolled in school. Our program is perfect for teens in the Bowling Green/Warren County area but is also an option for teens in our surrounding counties.

The Adolescent PHP is also the next step for all local patients discharging from our New Direction program.  The goal is to stabilize our patients during their inpatient stay and increase post-discharge success by continuing to attend PHP.
